The Independent Scrutineers

The Independent Scrutineers are a new, not-for-profit, Theatre Company which brings together the expertise of professional artists from multiple disciplines. Our mission is to create theatre/performance-arts experiences for children, young people, schools and families, in areas of least engagement. Offering opportunities to explore emotional/social intelligences and develop language/literacy through performance.

 

Charlie

'Charlie and the Cotton Wool Coat', is an innovative, intergenerational performance project for ages 5-7 and their schools/families/community. The immersive story of a boy and his grandmother is currently being created by our team, working with children of Mansfield and Polish Elders of Nottinghamshire, using voice-over, animation, puppetry and music. Charlie and the Cotton Wool Coat will be performed at Mansfield Museum, for schools and families in areas of least arts engagement. January 20 to 31, 2014.
